Scholarship Critieria
Scholarships are available for continuing education at Laramie County Community College.

Student shall have financial need as determined by the LCCC Financial Aid Office.

The student shall be a resident of Laramie County at the time of application.

Female student having graduated from high school or enrolled at LCCC.

The applicant must submit high school or college transcripts.

The applicant must submit a summary of need.

Student must maintain a 2.5 GPA in high school or LCCC to receive the fall semester award.

Currently GFWC-X-JWC is responsible for 3 different scholarships for women attending LCCC.
The Club also contributes to the GFWC-W state scholarships.
X-JWC scholarships:
The Willie Condron Memorial Scholarship, X-JWC-GFWC.
LCCC notifies the Club of the amount of interest earned and suggested amount to give to an eligible
LCCC recipient who is selected by the X-JWC Scholarship Committee.
The LCCC Endowment Scholarship, which was created by X-JWC in 1968.

The X-JWC Funded Scholarship.
Funds, if any, that are available in the Club budget and approved by the Board, will be awarded to an eligible LCCC student each year.
When funds are available, X-JWC contributes annually to GFWC-W scholarships: the GFWC-W Endowment; the Mary Brooks Educational Fund; the Paulina Hayes Scholarship; and the Ruth Clare Yonkee Dist. Scholarship.
