Since 1968, The X-JWC GFWC Scholarship Endowment at Laramie County Community College has awarded numerous scholarships. A Scholarship Committee is assigned the task of reviewing applications from students and awarding eligible students for the scholarships.
X-JWC budgets $600 each year (if funds are available) to help fund the scholarships. In addition, funds allocated by LCCC (interest on our endowment) will be added to our budgeted amount for a total amount of scholarship funds for the designated year. The total amount of funds will be evenly distributed to each scholarship.
At least two (2) scholarships a year will be awarded.
Scholarship money may be used for student expenses related to the educational program such as tuition, books, supplies, materials, lab fees, etc.
When funds are available, X-JWC also contributes annually to the GFWC-W (General Federated Women’s Club-Wyoming) scholarships.
Persons interested in the X-JWC-GFWC Scholarship at Laramie County Community College should contact X-JWC or LCCC Foundation.
